START CODING FROM SCRATCH ( FOR FREE ).

So recently I posted a blog on some skills that you should learn in 2021, which can also make you earn lakhs.

In that, I emphasized a major skill i.e. Coding or Programming.

I got many of you asking me how can you start coding from scratch, which software will be required, which course should we follow, and many more.

So here I am going to answer each and every doubt that must have popped up in your mind after reading my blog.

So let's begin with the most basic thing. Why you want to be a coder or a programmer? Is it because this sector has high paying jobs? Or you seriously want to know how these machines, applications, games work? Do you love your google assistant more than your girlfriend?

If you are entering into this field of programming just because it has high paying jobs, then my friend please don't. Do remember in the present day there is no shortage of coders. If you enter this field because of economic reasons then your plan will surely backfire.

But if your answers to the other questions are yes, then I welcome you to read this blog and enter into the World Of the Internet.

So the first question that comes to our mind is " Which Language "

I hope you guys at least know that there are some programming languages. each language has it's own use cases.

Some of the majorly used languages are:

  • PYTHON ( used for software and web development )
  • Java ( it is the most widely used language, in anything you say )
  • JavaScript ( used as client-side scripting language )
  • C ( it is used for developing system applications for your PC )
  • C++ ( it is a very powerful language. majorly used to develop operating systems and browser games.)
  • C# ( C sharp is used to develop high-end games )
  • Kotlin ( it is the official language of android app development )
  • Flutter ( used to make applications of other OS like IOS )

If you are a beginner and don't know C of coding and if you are a student, then without any confusion I would recommend you to go for PYTHON.

There are some reasons for it:

  • PYTHON is comparatively easy.
  • It was made for children, but it is now used on a very big scale.
  • Some famous applications running on PYTHON are Instagram, Netflix, Uber, Spotify, Pinterest, Some parts of YouTube also, and many more.

You can also learn any other language, based upon your interests, for example, if you like gaming then I would recommend you to make one game of your own by learning c++ or c#.

But if you are a college-going student or someone who is seeking a job as a coder, then PYTHON might not be a very good option for you. Because PYTHON is not asked in interviews of big Tech-Giants like google, Facebook, etc.

For a purpose of getting a job, you must go for Java or Javascript.

As I mentioned above it is the most widely used programming language. It is used for App development, Web Development, Software development, Operating system development, and for many more purposes.

The next question that comes to our mind is where to learn from?

I would suggest that you don't have to spend your money on expensive courses, there are top-notch quality video tutorials available on YouTube.

You should check out the " CodeWithHarry " YouTube channel.

He is a pass out from IIT Kharagpur and has immense knowledge about coding. You will find all major languages fully covered on his channel ( with notes, what you do you want )

Or if you love to read, then you can also visit  W3schools also  --> Click here.

Now you might think where do I have to code?

You can code in your windows PowerShell or in the idle that comes along with the download of the language you want to learn.

But in these softwares, the code will be in a single color and there are high chances that you will get bored and leave learning the language.

So in order to get that " movie wali feel " we use certain software to get the code in multicolor ( because that feels good ). Also in that multicolor code, you will be able to spot your mistake easily as compared.

You just download Visual Studio Code. It will do everything for you. Also, it is by Microsoft so it's safe.

So I don't think there is any other question left in your mind, after reading this.
