WhatsApp's Updated Privacy Policies. What Will Happen After 16th May?

So you all might already be knowing that WhatsApp has updated its privacy policies in January.

It asked all the users to accept it before 15th May 2021.

So earlier, WhatsApp stated that whosoever will not accept their policies, will lead to termination of their WhatsApp accounts.

Because of this, many people were upset by Mark Zuckerberg and they switched to other safer platforms like Telegram or Signal.

WhatsApp has now changed some of the policies, but, the changed ones also end up in termination of your account.

So the current scene is, if you don't accept their policies, then they will continue to show you that banner message, regarding the acceptance of their policies.

But if you still don't wish to accept the policies, then WhatsApp will start to limit their features.

After some time, you will not be able to open the app, but you can still reply to texts via the notification panel and can also receive the calls in the same way.

If you still don't accept the policies, then after approximately 1 month, your WhatsApp account will get terminated/deleted.
