MICROMAX IS BACK #InForIndia

Micromax

Micromax recently launched two new products in their new "in" lineup.

1. In Note 1

2. In 1b

Today we gonna talk about In Note 1.

Let's take a quick look at its specifications.

6.67" Full HD+ IPS LCD Display

Mediatek Helio G85 Processor ( octa-core )

4GB RAM ( Its LPDDR4 type RAM not LPDDR4X )

64 / 128 GB storage ( Its EMMF type storage not EMMC )

 Quad Rear Camera setup 48mp (main) + 5mp (ultrawide) + 2mp (macro) + 2mp (mono)

Front Camera 16mp ( center punch hole )

5000mAh battery with 18W charger (inbox).

According to me the best feature of this new In note 1 is the UI. Yes, you guessed it right its STOCK ANDROID.    (actually, it's not completely stock android it's a clean UI with some modifications by Micromax.)

Why it is the best feature in it is because you are not going to get it in any other phone with these specifications in this price bracket.

Micromax has promised security and android updates for 2 YEARS. ( but there is no clarity of frequency or timeline about when we will be seeing those updates.)

Regarding the brightness: Indoors it's perfectly fine with no issues at all. But outside in direct sunlight, you will be facing bit issues even at the maximum brightness. So this is something you should keep in mind while buying this phone.

Now let's take a look at biometrics.

We get a rear fingerprint scanner and is positioned at the perfect place. The scanner is fast at accurate as well. It worked 95% of the time.

The speakers of this phone are nice and loud (it's even one of the loudest I have heard .)

Now the big thing, let's talk about the camera of this phone. This is the part where they need some improvements. First of all the camera app itself have some bugs in it. Sometimes i.e. 1 in 10 times you will that the photo you clicked is not getting saved in the gallery.

The front-facing camera and the rear camera work decently well considering the price at which it comes. Another problem with the camera is bokeh-mode, the camera sensor fails to detect the corners of the image hence resulting in blurring some parts of the body as well.

But all these are just some software bugs and can easily be fixed with the help of a software update if Micromax wants.

Finally, let's take a look at its price.

Micromax InNote 1 4GB / 64Gb is priced at ₹11000.

Micromax InNote 1 4GB / 128Gb is priced at ₹13000.

At this price, I can clearly say that this is the best you can get.

The first sale of this new phone is going to be on the 24th of November on Flipkart.
