Top 9 New WhatsApp Features 2020 ⚡ Use WhatsApp Like A Pro

You must be knowing about some of them but I am sure that you might not be knowing about some others.

So let's start with the new features that Whatsapp recently introduced:

1.) Whatsapp Payments

For a long time, Whatsapp was working on its Payment feature and finally, it's out now.

You can easily link your Bank Account with Whatsapp and after that, you can pay anybody you want directly through Whatsapp.

2.) Mute Forever

Till now we were able to mute someone or any group almost for a year but now you can mute someone or any group you want forever.

3.) Chat Background Wallpaper Setting

First of all, there are some awesome new wallpapers added to Whatsapp.

Earlier when you used to set chat background wallpaper then it gets applied to each and every group and person in your contact list.

But now you can individualism Chat background.

That means you can set a different background for your girlfriend/boyfriend, a different wallpaper for your family groups, etc.

4.) Disappearing Messages

According to me, it's a waste feature. As the time limit, it comes with is of 7 days. That means if you send someone a disappearing message then it will get disappeared after 7 days. Also during that period of 7 days, anyone can take a screenshot of it, so there is no means of disappearing messages.

If we can customize the time after which the message will get disappeared then it would be a nice feature to have.

5.) Advanced Search

The search feature was there earlier also but now you can filter among your chats that what you are looking for. See the image below if you didn't understand.

For eg., you select "links" from here and then search for techibank then you will see the results of the link of our website if you have shared it with someone or if someone has shared it with you.

6.) New Storage Management Tool

We all are using Whatsapp since a very long time and by now Whatsapp has become our primary mode of conversation.

Because of this our storage gets filled real quick.

Earlier we were able to see how much storage Whatsapp occupies but now we can see how much storage each individual chat or group occupies.

Also, we can delete it directly from there.

So it's one of the better feature introduced in 2020.

7.) Increase In Limit Of No. Of People During A Voice/Video Call

Due to this pandemic, we all are doing virtual meets and because of this Whatsapp has increased its limit on the number of people attending a voice/video call from 4 to 8.

( According to some leakers Whatsapp is also rolled out voice/video call with a limit of 50 people. But it's still in its Beta phase, which will soon be made public.)

8.) Dark Mode

This was released 6 months ago.

If you guys don't know then yes, dark mode is finally here in Whatsapp.

9.) Animated Stickers

Stickers were there in Whatsapp for a long time but now there are some new, cool animated stickers added to Whatsapp to make your conversation better.

10.) Multi-Device Support

This is not released yet but some Whatsapp officials have confirmed that it's almost ready and will be out in the next update.

This feature lets you use the same Whatsapp account on two devices at the same time.

The system is almost ready, they are feeling some difficulty in the calling feature.

As soon as it will get released I will tell you.

So these were some new features added to Whatsapp this year.
